Hood Community College Small Business Development Center intends to use Adam Reid as the Sole Source for the following: THE MHCC SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER INITIALLY BUILT A PILOT PROGRAM CALLED PROJECT PROTO TO SUPPORT YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN OUR COMMUNITY. ADAM REID WAS CONTRACTED FOR THAT PROGRAM AND THE PROGRAM WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROGRAM ADAM REID DEVELOPED A CUSTOMIZED TRAINING CURRICULUM FOR THE PROJECT PROTO PROGRAM AND THEN LED THE PROGRAM WITH THE STUDENTS. THE CURRICULUM AND PROGRAM ITSELF HAVE BEEN THE RESULT OF ADAM REID'S WORK AND KNOWLEDGE IN THIS FIELD. HE IS THE CO-CREATOR OF THE PROJECT PROTO PROGRAM. Estimated Cost: Current Year - $52,500 Year 2 $52,500 Total approximately: $105,000 Any entity wishing to protest this sole source procurement must do so prior to 3:00 PM on October 20th, 2019.
