The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to provide cleanup services for the Exide Residential Cleanup. The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain bids for two (2) contracts for excavation and disposal of lead-impacted soil, backfilling, and restoration at approximately 700 residential properties per contract (total of 1,400) in the vicinity of the former Exide lead-acid battery recycling facility (Former Exide Facility) in Vernon, California.
