The United States Government, represented by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications from qualified US citizens to provide personal services as an Interagency PEPFAR Coordinator under a personal services contract, as described in the attached solicitation. The PEPFAR/Ethiopia Interagency Coordinator is designated by the Chief of Mission (Ambassador). The Coordinator reports to the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) in Ethiopia, and will assume responsibility for coordinating critical communications between and among various USG departments and agencies (Peace Corps, USAID, CDC, PRM, DOD, etc.) involved in the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. The Ambassador heads the PEPFAR program and is the final decision-maker with input from the Executive Council, which is comprised of Agency and Department Heads. Supervision and annual evaluation is assigned to the Deputy Chief of Mission with consultation and input from other USG departments and agencies Directors.
