The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Rapid Acquisition Cell (RAC)
Contracting Office, AFLCMC/EBK, located at 205 West D. Avenue, Building 350, Suite 420,
Eglin Air Force Base, FL, 32542, intends to award a one (1) year firm fixed price contract, for
the purchase of 2,400 each Standoff Precision Guided Missile (SOPGM) Containers, to the
Small Business, AC Inc. 1085 Jordan Rd, Huntsville, AL 35811-8405.
The anticipated award date is March 2019.
The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is
FAR 6.302-1 [10 U.S.C (c)(1)], Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or
Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This authority is supported by an approved Single
Source Justification. It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The
applicable NAICS code is 336419. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business
Administration is 1,000 employees.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION, REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR A
REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. A solicitation package will NOT be issued. Requests for copies
of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Information
received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining
whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the
Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the
services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses
must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's
capability to provide these services. In your response, indicate your business size (large, small,
small disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteranowned)
and specify whether the firm is U.S. or foreign-owned. Verbal responses are not
