The City of Siloam Springs is requesting statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing Professional Engineering services for the development of a Waste to Energy (WTE) facility capable of processing 1,000 tons per day of municipal solid waste (MSW), generating electricity for the City, and producing high-quality marketable biproducts. The selected firm will coordinate with various city departments to conduct site selection, market analysis, conceptual plans, funding options, and other front-end engineering services. The SOQ’s will be used for selection for the front-end engineering of a WTE facility to be designed and constructed in multiple phases beginning in 2024. Phasing for the design and construction of this project is expected to span multiple years. Please submit one (1) paper copy statement of qualifications and one (1) identical digital PDF copy on a properly labeled CD. Submissions shall be received no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024.
