Sources Sought Flame Resistant Shipboard Foam Mattress
DLA Troop Support, an activity of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), is the Defense Department's principal buyer of the flame resistant shipboard foam mattress. The specification and testing requirements for the current Foam Mattress are being revised. The new specifications is MIL-PRF-32586 Mattress, Foam, Flame Resistant, Shipboard
DLA Troop Support is hereby providing mattress producers the opportunity to identify themselves. The Berry Amendment DFAR 252.225-7012 will apply to this item. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2241, every component (including all natural and synthetic fibers) must be grown and produced in the United States or its possessions. Potential future acquisitions will be multi-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts consisting of a 12 month base term and four 12 month option terms. Quantities will be similar to the following:
Minimum Quantity per year - 93
Annual Estimated Quantity - 372
Maximum (Annual Order Limitation) Quantity - 465
