The goal of this RFQ is to follow Florida Statutes 403.064 and 403.086, regarding the elimination of wastewater discharge to the Indian River Lagoon. The emphasis of the effort will be associated with how to control/maintain flows at the SBWWTP without discharge to the Indian River Lagoon. BCUSD views the need for a 2nd deep injection well to be a large component of this effort thus this RFQ will require an engineering consultant who not only has expertise in improvements at a WWTP but also the ability to plan, design, permit, and oversee the completion of a 2nd deep injection well.
