The CONTRACTOR shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents associated with replacement of the North Entrance to South Plaza/Colonial Boulevard Canal box culvert, FDOT Bridge No. 125019. The Work generally includes removal of the existing single span, approximately 34 feet long by 25 feet wide bridge, consisting of restressed concrete – 22 channeled beams, and replacement with a double barrel, 7’ X 12’ box culvert, 36 feet long by 27 feet wide, and including four wingwalls, each approximately 11 feet long. Work shall also include reconstruction of approximately 17 feet of the approach roadways and installation of 160 linear feet of guardrail and 197 feet of vertical concrete curb (Type D). Other Work shall include canal regrading approximately 120 feet upstream and downstream of the culvert, riprap ditch lining approximately 20 feet upstream and downstream of the culvert, and sod installation on embankment slopes.
