This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an item unique to manufacturer requirement and is 100% total small business set aside.

Solicitation/synopsis reference number HQ002811646601 is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and incorporates the following with the word "quoter" substituted for "offeror". Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50, effective 16 May 2011, and DFARS Change Notice 20110608.

(1) FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items) (JUN 2008):
(a) Re para (a): NAICS 337215; small business size standard is 500 employees.
(b) Note that para (k) requires quoter to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at time order is issued and throughout performance.

(2) FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items) (JAN 1999) with the following insertion in para (a) "lowest priced technically acceptable and acceptable past performance." Technical evaluation will be whether quoted item satisfy all requirements of CLIN 0001 description below.

CLIN 0001: 1EA, NON PERSONAL; CREATED TO INITIATE NEW CONTRACT FOR THE HIGH DENSITY SOTRAGE FOR CONTRACT FILES IN A SECURE ROOM AT NEW FGGM HQ FACILITY IN FORT MEADE MD.
