CITY OF MIDDLETOWN INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals, addressed to the Supervisor of Purchases, City of Middletown, Room 112, Municipal Building, Middletown, Connecticut, 06457 will be received until October 29, 2019 by 3:00 PM for the following: State Project Number 083-0116N Woodrow Wilson Middle School PHASE 2 Special Inspection and Material Testing Services The City of Middletown, Connecticut is seeking proposals from interested, qualified firms for Special Inspection and Material Testing Services for the Woodrow Wilson Middle School PHASE 2, in Middletown, CT. Proposals must be executed in accordance with and are subject to the instructions contained within the Information for Bidders. The Scope of Services, Bid Form, Plans and specifications will be available on October 15, 2019, and may be viewed and downloaded free of charge from SmartBidNet at the following address: https://secure.smartinsight.co/#/PublicBidProject/469846 All proposals shall be submitted on the designated forms sealed in an envelope using the return label provided and marked as designated in the Information for Bidders. The City of Middletown and the Construction Manager reserves the right to waive any defect or any irregularity in any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof. Proposals, and amendments to proposals received after the time set for the bid opening will not be considered. All proposals must be completely filled out when submitted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of proposals without the City of Middletown's written consent. Withdrawal of any bid must be submitted in writing to the City of Middletown. The Owner and/or Construction Manager may consider the qualification and experience of consultant and other persons and organizations proposed for those portions of the work as to which the identity of subcontractors and other persons and organizations must be submitted as provided by the bid documents.
