The Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory's (AOML) located in Miami, FL is awarding a purchase order (PO) for one (1) 24-position full size carousel from Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc. located in Bellevue, WA.

Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc. is the only known source that can provide the carousel that is required in order for AOML to successfully complete their field projects.

The Government is not aware of any other vendor that can provide these specialized supplies that also meet the Government's intended use.

To the best of the Government's knowledge there are no other vendors available who can meet the requirements needed in order to compete for this project. A sources sought notice was posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website https://www.fbo.gov/ on 03-31-15 under Solicitation # NRMAD000-15-00929. The posting closed at 4:00 PM ET on 04/09/2015 with no responses. It is the Government's intent to award a purchase order to Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc. upon the closing of this notice.
