NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE/SOLE SOURCE

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Acquisitions and Grants Office intends to award a single source, firm fixed price IDIQ as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Molecular Devices for the purchase of SpectraMax iD5 multimode plate reader to perform multiple laboratory protocols.

The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and a solicitation will not be issued. Sources interested in responding to this notice will be considered for future requirements, and shall submit a capability statement that includes technical capability and cost information, sufficient detail, and convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement.

It is the responsibility of the offeror to contact the government to confirm receipt prior to the offer due date and time.
