A notice of intenet to sole source synopsis (special notice) will be posted on FBO to notify the public of the Government's intenet to make a sole source award for the Main Operating Room (MOR) at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP). This sole source award is for surgical supplies that the surgeon has deemed necessary for proper patient care. This award is based upon the surgeon's diagnosis and patient's plan of care. The supplies are very specific to the surgical procedure being performed and are what is required for MOR to satisfy its mission at NMCP. Any deviation from the specifications of these products will increase risk to the patient and is unacceptable to the Government. Surgery date: 6 May 16.
