GSA Heartland Global Supply intends to establish a "not to exceed" one-year Standing Price Quote (SPQ) National Stock Number in the 8020 Federal Supply Class. Please see the attached Word Doc for a complete description. All quotes should meet the requirements of the attached Item Purchase Description. Please note that an SPQ is not a formal contract. While we call it a one-year SPQ it is not in any way binding for the vendor or the government. If the vendor has a price increase during the one-year period, the vendor will need to contact the government and the appropriate action will be taken. In this case, the higher price will either be authorized or the government will cancel the SPQ and re-advertise it on FedBizOpps. Also if the vendor can no longer provide the item for any reason, the vendor will need to contact the government and the orders will be stopped.
