The contractor shall perform Concept Studies for SSI Inc 13 upgrades for the Mk98 Mod 6/7 Fire Control System.  The effort shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of OD69299 (all versions through authentication) for the Mk 98 Mod 6/7 Increment 13 Fire Control System (FCS) and in accordance with the T9001B checklist dated February 17, 2011, Fire Control and Aux Type, Development Phase.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the united States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability  to perform the required effort.
