The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to negotiate and award a Job Order under SSP Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00030-11-G-0022 for efforts to update the existing SSP Advanced Inventory and Logistics (SAIL)system.  This effort includes migrating the applicable data for Navigation parts into new storerooms in the existing SAIL databases at Pittsfield, MA and to update the SAIL software for repair management, to track assets in storerooms, provide for serial number tracking of select assets, and to assign and track Item Unique Identification (UID) numbers.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  Per SSP Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) 15,562, GDAIS is the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort to incorporate the required capabilities in the proprietary core SAIL program.  See SSP BOA Award Notice Number C111GDAIS dated December 1, 2010 for copy of applicable CJ&A and further information.
