The Contractor shall work with SSP Technical Branches, Navy Inventory Control Point Mechanicsburg and support contractors to develop the concept and requirements for improvement of US and UK Logistics management, utilizing SP23 Fire Control  SSP advanced Integrated Logics System for processing and data delivery for SSP Alterations.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.  See Note 22.*****
