The City of Burlington will receive proposals from qualified firms to contract for a full service maintenance and asset management program for one [1] water storage tank. The City intends to engage the service(s) of a firm having specific experience and qualifications in the area(s) identified in this RFP. For consideration, proposals for the project must provide evidence of the firm’s experience and abilities in the specified area(s) and other disciplines directly related to the proposed service. Award of contract will be made to the firm offering the best combination of experiences, qualifications, price, and general project approach. All information outlined in the RFP, along with any other pertinent facts necessary for a proper evaluation of this proposal, should be delivered to City of Burlington, 2200 S. Pine Street, Burlington, WI 53105 in a sealed envelope prior to 9:00 AM on Friday July 31, 2015. The work performed under this Contract is subject to Wisconsin prevailing wage law, and the workers who are performing work under this Contract are to be paid no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages as set by the appropriate authority. Any future work performed by workers under this Contract will be subject to the wage determination of the appropriate authority which is in effect when the work is performed. All information regarding opening date, description of the proposal and RFP number must be listed on the outside of the envelope. City Officials reserve the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part with or without cause and/or to accept the proposal that in its judgment will be in the best interest of City of Burlington irrespective of cost. The Owner reserves the right to take a period of up to eight [8] weeks to examine and evaluate all proposals before a decision is made and announced.
