Sealed bid proposals will be received from General Contractors by the City of Prattville at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, Alabama 36067, until 2:00 PM CDT, on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, for Stanley Jensen Stadium Improvements, Bid No. 2023-008 at which time and place will be publicly opened and read. The project will consist of renovations to an approximately 7,000-person capacity outdoor stadium. The project includes demolition of existing facilities at the City of Prattville’s Stanley Jensen Stadium and the construction of new stadium facilities including locker rooms, audio/video systems, grandstand bleachers, press box with elevator, entryways and plazas, concession areas, restrooms, paved parking and landscaping. Site work will include new parking, security fencing, vehicular gates, underground utilities, pedestrian facilities and landscaping. Electronic files of the bid documents, drawings and specifications may be viewed and downloaded online free of charge via the Architect’s online plan-room at www.sslarch.com/aboutus by accessing the Info Exchange Login or at Seay Seay and Litchfield, P.C., 1115 South Court Street, Montgomery, AL 36104. Questions pertaining to accessing the website should be directed to Casey Ivy at (334) 263-5162. These documents shall be used only for the purpose of bidding and construction of this project. Anyone logging into the site for plans and specifications through the website will be notified of all addenda via email. The architect retains all copyrights and ownership of the documents. A non-mandatory PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the City Hall Council Chambers located at 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067 at 9:00 am CDT, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, for the purpose of reviewing the project and answering Bidder’s questions. Interested general contractors and subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend. Additional qualifications and requirements for General Contractor Bidders are indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents. The City of Prattville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical errors and/or abandon the bid process if, in their judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
