The City of Long Beach (City) requests the services of a professional consulting firm (Consultant) to provide state legislative representation services benefiting a full-service Charter City. The Legislative Representative(s) receives policy direction from the Mayor and nine City Council members and reports to the City Manager, or his designee. The Legislative Representative(s)’ primary contact will be with the Manager of Government Affairs in the City Manager’s Office. Please refer to the attached document for detailed specifications. The Bid Management System will not accept late proposals and no exceptions shall be made. Proposers will receive an e-bid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that their proposal was submitted successfully. The City will only receive those proposals that were transmitted successfully. The deadline to submit questions in writing to [email protected] is 08/27/20 by 11:00 AM, PT. The Q&A will be posted as an addendum no later than 09/10/20 by 11:00 AM, PT. Proposals shall be submitted electronically.
