The mandatory Pre-Bid Walk-Through will be held at the site on October 6, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. Interested bidders shall meet at Building 9 on the Lincoln Regional Center Campus. Sealed proposals will be received at the State of Nebraska, AS/State Building Division, located at 1526 “K” St. Suite 200, Lincoln, Nebraska until 2:00 P.M. on November 10, 2020 and will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Project ‘A’ consists of numerous selective renovations to buildings 3, 5 & 10 at Lincoln Regional Center in order to reduce identified potential patient safety risks that the current environment presents. Items include toilet fixture & accessory replacement, finish replacement, door and door hardware replacement, lighting replacement, and other minor renovations associated with improving patient safety Project ‘B’ consists of architectural, electrical, and mechanical modifications to facilitate a fan coil replacement on level two at Building #10 Lincoln Regional Center. The new fan coils will be installed above the corridor ceiling to condition the patient rooms and common spaces. The corridor ceiling will be replaced with a base bid acoustical panel ceiling and there will be an alternate to provide a more secure ceiling per Alternate A-1. The lighting within the corridor will be replaced with LED high performance fixtures. There will be modifications in the lower level mechanical room which consist of converting the existing two pipe system to a four pipe system to provide heating and cooling all year long. A new air cooled chiller will be bid as an alternate to the project to replace an existing McQuay chiller that is no longer operational. The project will be phased and occupied during construction, there is hazardous materials that will be abated as part of Project C to accommodate the installation for new equipment. All applicable Federal, State and local codes shall be followed. Project ‘C’ requires a Nebraska licensed business entity to abate fireproofing and pipe insulation from building 10 at the Lincoln Regional Center in approximately 3 phases. Abatement contractor shall construct full containments prior to demolition of ceilings and ductwork in close proximity to asbestos fireproofing, remove the fireproofing on structural beams in select areas, and remove associated overspray. Additionally, abatement contractor will be responsible for making cuts into walls and ceilings that may have asbestos overspray present, clean exposed reachable areas and encapsulate in preparation for installation of new ductwork. The abatement contractor will be responsible for filing and paying for related notifications and for final disposal of asbestos containing waste. All work shall be in accordance with industrial standards as well as all Federal, State and local regulations.” The said Documents have been prepared by DLR Group, Inc., The Clark Enersen Partners, & ATC Group Services and may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply 1822 N Street Lincoln NE with $25 deposit. If a bidder requests a set to be mailed, a separate nonrefundable payment of $15.00 dollars per set, payable to A&D Technical, shall be included to cover handling and postage. A digital download of the complete set is available for a non-refundable fee of $15.00 paid to A&D Technical Supply Co.
