THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE. A
SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES
WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health intends
to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis with: JORGENSON
CONSULTING 353A Douglass Street San Francisco, CA 94114-2432
No solicitation exists for this requirement. The service is commercial as defined
in FAR Part 2. The total contracted dollar amount will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold; therefore it will be procured under FAR 13.106. It is believed
that Jorgenson Consulting is the sole source for this requirement under the authority
of FAR parts 13.106-1 (b). The Office of the Director (OD) will procure the
services of ongoing statistical consulting in support of CRADA DC-08-001,
Genetic Association Studies of Sweet Taste Perception. A sole source
justification and scope of work are attached to this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541712 and the size standard is 500. This
notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes preparation. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the established time frame is invited
to submit written notification to the Contract Specialist by June 16th at 1pm EST.
Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's
ability to provide the stated capability. Information can be sent to the Contract
Specialist, Aleise Roberts at [email protected]. No telephone request will be
accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by
the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses
to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no
responses are received, NIH will proceed with the sole source purchase order.
