Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source                            

The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to Endologix, Inc, 2 Musick, Irvine, CA 92618, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)- Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio, TX, for an Endologix AFX2 stent-graft.  The stent-graft is required for a surgery scheduled for 6 July 2021. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing.

Salient Characteristics:

• All products must be FDA and TAA Compliant
• Must allow for natural blood flow and preserve the vessel’s native bifurcation
• Must have helical wrapped layers for tear resistance and strength
• Must have a single-step, single motion contralateral limb deployment
• Must have color-coded deployment mechanisms for identification.
• Must have proven comparative data that supports endograft performance.
• Must facilitate percutaneous endovascular aneurism repair by providing the lowest profile contralateral access through a 7fr intoducer.

The notice is not a request for competitive quotes.  Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it’s proprietary in nature.  The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.

Due to the urgency of need, this requirement will be sole sourced.  Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for the future requirements.  No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquires will be honored. The government intends to execute this award on or about 2 July 2021.
