The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties the USTRANSCOM Acquisition Directorate is issuing a solicitation for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at Cape Canaveral.  Services include providing all technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials in connection with the receipt, disposition, processing and loading/discharging of vessels at the seaport.  The general scope of S&RTS services includes a full spectrum of handling surface moving cargo to include its receipt, disposition, warehousing, storage and processing cargo for simultaneous shipments via surface modes of transportation.  The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 488320.

The Government anticipates issuing an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with base period of performance from 19 July 2020 through 18 July 2025.  The resulting contract will also include FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, for a possible performance period of 66 months ending 18 February 2026.  Award will be made on the basis of Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.
