The Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center is soliciting cost proposals for qualified professionals to provide subcontracted medical services to students. Position: Wellness Center Physician Services are to be provided for a period of (12) hours per week, (48) weeks per year on a fixed price service basis. Services are to include: Advice to the Center Director and Deputy Center Director on all medical and health related matters, Consultation to center staff on ordering, accounting for and safeguarding equipment, supplies & medication, develop and implement health care with other center activities, advise health education instructors, provide confidentiality & care for health records, advice on required quarterly environment inspections, maintain standing orders for medical care, provide for exams, diagnostics and treatments for each new class of enrollees, and balance of student body as required, be proactive and interactive in referrals, institutional care arrangements, medical leaves and sick call requirements. Proposal must contain copy of current State of Michigan license, Resume', DEA number, and proof of malpractice insurance, monthly/hourly/rate: General Practitioner and OB/GYN experience required. Job Corps is a national training and employment program administered by the Department of Labor to address the multiple barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged youth.
