Sealed bids will be received online by West Goshen Township via PennBid until September 2, 2021 at 11:00 A.M., at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Meeting Room of the West Goshen Township Building, 1025 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 for: WEST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP SUNSET HOLLOW STORM CROSSING The project involves the replacement of 73 feet of 18-inch diameter reinforced concrete storm pipe crossing Sunset Hollow Road in West Goshen Township with three (3) parallel 80-feet 30-inch x 19-inch elliptical reinforced concrete storm pipes, and two (2) new concrete endwalls. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of West Goshen Township, or a Bid Bond in favor of West Goshen Township in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at the date, time and location indicated in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders provided on PennBid. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. West Goshen Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
