THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.  Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to KBA NotaSys, SA.  The BEP has an urgent need for spare parts to repair existing Super Simultan (SuSi) presses.  These spare parts are proprietary to KBA, the original equipment manufacturer of the presses, and are not available from other sources.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their capability.  Responses to this notice shall be received by the date and time indicated in this notice.  All responses must be in writing only via email to the point of contact specified.  Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
