U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a firm fixed price sole source award to procure silencers and flash hiders which are required to support the Air & Marine Division's Air Crew Rifle (ACR) Operations branch.  The ACR Ops branch requires this specific law enforcement equipment as it is the only compatible option that functions in conjunction with the Special Operations Combat Assault Rifle (SCAR) Heavy. The SCAR-H (caliber .308) is the primary rifle agents utilize for completion of the agency missions on OAM aircrafts. In an effort not to change the design layout, the sole source justification is based on Advanced Armament Corporation being the only source capable of manufacturing the compatible supplies for the SCAR-H Assault Rifle. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13.
