SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use of Competitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission is requesting responses to this Request for Proposal for the provision of proposals for lighting systems and lighting control replacement at the Supreme Court Building located at 201 W 14th St, Austin, TX 78701, the Price Daniel Building located at 209 W 14th, Austin, TX 78701, and the Tom C Clark Building located at 205 W 14th St, Austin, TX 78701. Provide all material, equipment, labor, coordination and supervisory activities necessary to perform the following: Disconnect and remove existing lighting fixtures and lighting control systems in the Court rooms and surrounding area as described in the base proposal and alternatives. Base proposal includes Texas Supreme Courtroom, Texas Criminal Appeals Courtroom, and Third Court of Appeals Courtroom. Alternate proposal 1; Texas Supreme Court Building Foyer Alternate proposal 2; Texas Law Library Ground and First Floors Alternate proposal 3; Price Daniel Building (1st floor and 2nd Floor Lobby, Corridor, Common Spaces) Replace and upgrade the lighting as described and detailed in Attachment E – Project Manual, Attachment F – Project Specs and Attachment G – IFC Project Drawings All equipment must be new, factory-sealed and include all product information. Used or refurbished equipment will not be accepted by TFC. Equipment substitutions of equal or better quality and function may be considered at the full and sole discretion of TFC. For any proposed equipment substitutions, respondent shall provide a manufacturers specification sheet with proposal. Work shall be performed by factory certified installation technicians. Verification of certification will be included with any proposal that results from this IFB. Material and labor on installation shall be warranted by Contractor for a period of one-year from the date of acceptance of work by TFC. All work shall be performed outside of regular business hours. Regular business hours are 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Jobsite must be cleaned daily so as not to disrupt employees or normal operations of affected area. Upon completion of the work, area will be cleaned, and all debris accumulated will be removed from job site. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: TFC reserves the right to change the dates in the Schedule of Events set forth below upon written notification to prospective Respondents through a posting of an addendum on the ESBD.
