The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron proposes to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc (ASTi) for: (2EA) Synapse 4 Workstations, 1 ACE Studio, and non-recurring engineering services (to include onsite training) delivered FOB to Hurlburt Field FL. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. ASTi is the manufacturer, publisher, holder of all copyrights, and the sole source for these items. This tool replicates radio traffic during Air Operations Training events and is/will be used during BLUE FLAG, UNITED ENDEAVOR, TERMINAL FURY, as well as many joint and coalition training events worldwide. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 541512 with a size standard of $25,000,000; the SIC code is 7373. Any resulting Purchase order shall be firm-fixed-price. The proposed action is for supplies and services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b).
