SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION
The US Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville (CEHNC), is issuing this synopsis in order to publicize its intentions to solicit for the award of a Technology Insertion (TI) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). The BOA will replace a current BOA and provide ongoing support for HPCMP Technology Insertion requirements.
The most applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees.
The request for proposals is anticipated to be issued February 2018.
These services support the High Performance Computing Modernization Program which provides supercomputing capabilities to the Department of Defense's Research, Development, Test and Evaluation community. The services to be provided include on-site system administration, remedial hardware/software inspection and maintenance, and preventative hardware/software inspection and maintenance.
Technology Insertions under this proposed procurement instrument will occur primarily at the following four DSRCs and will encompass the unique requirements of each center:
• U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) DSRC, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
• U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) DSRC, Vicksburg, Mississippi
• Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) DSRC, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio
• U.S. Navy DSRC, John C. Stennis Space Center, Mississippi
