The Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal intends to issue a solicitation number W31P4Q-22-R-0051 after the synopsis close date for the purpose of formally soliciting proposals to fulfill the requirement for Inert Warheads, Part Number 13540611, for the Reduced Range Practice Rocket, M28A2. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract with a quantity of 5,091 each. The contractor shall conduct a First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Line Validation (PLV) with Government participation at production start-up to verify the manufacturing and inspection processes are adequate to produce products that are compliant with the drawing requirements. The Government will provide approval/disapproval of the first submission within 30 days. If disapproved the Contract shall resubmit 15 days after receipt of Government comments.
The Government has enclosed the Statement of Work detailing the requirements herein. Distribution of the drawings are authorized only to the DoD and U.S. DoD Contractors and shall only be disseminated in accordance with provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. Delivery schedule: Deliveries shall be completed within a 12 month timeline.
