This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-17-Q-0032 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis to SYSTEL, INC. The Systel ruggedized Chassis is necessary to execute test and evaluation for various applications within the AEGIS weapon system. Utilizing a different ATCA Chassis vendor would result in a system redesign and re-qualification creating substantial additional costs and would create unacceptable delays. Systel, Inc. is locate in Sugar Land, TX.

Please include shipping/freight cost to Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
