This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

Synopsis/Solicitation N0017819Q6732 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.

The NSWC Dahlgren Division, DAM Neck Activity, intends to award on a sole source basis to Systel, Inc.1655 industrial Blvd, Sugarland, TX 77478-2579 for the following manufactured products: (7) Heavy Duty 2U Aluminum Rackmount Chassis 22" Deep. E-ATX Motherboard Design. (4) Heavy Duty 1U Aluminum Rackmount Active Chassis 19" deep. Listed on the attached SF18, and RFQ and Deliverables List. Usage of another brand would result in significant changes and redesign of the system. This would result in substantial duplication of costs, estimated at $225,000.00 with two (2) or more additional weeks for development, testing, calibrating and certification for use on Fleet assets.

Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
