Washington Headquarters Service Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with CTL-SystemWare, of Columbia, MD, for the purchase of warranty services for the following equipment:

• Two (2) Raider III System Warranty (Annual)
• One (1) Raider III 70 GHz Downconverter Warranty (Annual)
• Two (2) Spectrum Guard System Warranty (Annual)
• One (1) DoubleShot System Warranty (Annual)
• One (1) Network Guard 4 Scout (Annual)

These devices are critical to proper execution of Pentagon Force Protection Agency(PFPA)-Investigations and Intelligence Division(IID)mission.

The sole source determination is based on Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) -Investigations and Intelligence Division (IID) requirement for these services to be conducted by an OEM certified technician. Market research has shown that the OEM, -SystemWare, is the only source available that meets this requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can provide equipment that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
