The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a purchase order on a sole source non-competitive basis to IBIS Biosciences, Inc. The FDA will purchase Assay services to develop salmonella enterica subspecies assay, develop salmonella enterica o-tying assay and instruct FDA in development of salmonella enterica H-typing assay for IBIS T500 Biosensor already owned by FDA. The vendor shall also extend the application of the T5000 system beyond the current approach in which assay plate development is completely controlled by IBIS Biosciences, Inc. IBIS Bioscience, Inc. is the sole vendor of the T5000 system and the only vendor to perform the necessary proprietary software modifications and technology transfer to FDA. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. However, sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The FDA intends to make an award immediately after the response date of this notice. The award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures
