This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F9L3EX0124A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-40 and Defense DCN 20060711. This acquisition will be 100% set aside for small business; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5895. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3663. This request for quotation consists of ten (10) TAC-PAK communications hubs. Each TAC-PAK consists of: one environmentally sealed case with integrated hardware; one Dell E6400ATG; one map light with dimmer; one digital still camera EXILIM EXG1; one color printer; one fax machine; one copy machine; one scanner; one 120-240VAC/12-35VDC power supply; one Garmin Aera500 GPS; shipping to various U.S. locations; one year warranty; one laptop based user help video; one digital video camera; one BGAN 9201 telephone (464kbps data max); one high speed wireless data (2Mbps data max); one wireless LAN; one wireless LAN switch; one videoconferencing; one ICS forms in .pdf format; one 12Vdc power outlet; two radio interop (s/w, cabling, Tx/Rx hdw); one dual battery; 1 24 month Verizon cellular data service; one 2,000 min/24 month BGAN satellite data service and two on-site group training sessions. All or equal items must meet or exceed the features of the items described to make complete, functional communications hubs. The delivery locations are included as an attachment to this synopsis. Upon award the contractor will be required to coordinate delivery with the customer. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
