Greenville Technical College is looking to procure a medium fidelity high durability Tactical Operations Medical Manikin to include custom designed hardware and software. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) can work in austere environments and training can be hard on simulation equipment. The TOMManikin is a mid-fidelity manikin that includes custom designed hardware and software. Proprietary software ensures reliable and consistent performance of training sessions and validation activities. The software, electronics and functional system that allow the TOMManikin to replicate breathing, bleeding, speech and responses to interventions (e.g., bleeding stopping when a tourniquet is properly applied). To include a tablet which provides student evaluation checklists that can be exported to electronic student training records, scenario presets and scenario builder program.
