The Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC), intends to issue a brand name combined synopsis/solicitation for ten (10) AN/PRC-150(C) HF/VHF Tactical Radio Systems manufactured by Harris Corporation including ten (10) each of the following: HF MANPACK, DOD COMSEC (P/N AN/PRC-150(C)); RF-382A-15, CARC GREEN (P/N RF-382A-15); CABLE ASSY, PA-RF382 (P/N 10181-9823-250); CBL ASSY, PA/RF-382 CPLR (P/N 10181-9824-250); Transportable HF Ground Stake Antenna Kit (P/N RF-1937); ANT, HF DIPOLE, TRANSP, O D (P/N RF-1912T-AT002); 400-WATT HF-SSB MINI-TRANSIT CASE ADAPTER (P/N RF-5800H-TM003). A combined synopsis/solicitaton along with a redacted copy of the final approved brand name justification will be posted via www.fbo.gov on or around 5 January 09. A draft copy of the justification is attached for industry comments. Any firm that believes they can satisfy the requirement of a PRC-150(c) Tactical Radio System with a brand other than that of Harris Corporation may submit a response by the closing date of this synopsis of 29 Dec 08 for consideration by the contracting officer.
