The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) on a non-competitive basis with Tactical Support Equipment, Inc., of Fayetteville, NC, to provide a collapsible manpack SATCOM antenna with a rugged vehicular mounting and with the ability to secure the antenna in ground for unattended operation in support of the Naval Special Warfare Command. This notice is a follow-up to the Sources Sought notice N68335-18-RFI-0317 posted on 6 June 2018.

The proposed contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
