This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W912CN-20-Q-S006 is issued as an invitation to Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 333318 – “Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing”. The size standard is 1000 (number of employees). It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is set as full and open and is unrestricted.
Description of Requirement: TAMC requires an RFID equipment storage cabinet (Portal) to improve security and eliminate the need for an attended tool and test equipment cage. TAMC requires the storage cabinet to have an automated RFID based system. They currently have an RFID system from Conexus called Plexus Web to track all medical devices within the hospital. The required RFID equipment storage cabinet has to be compatible with their current system.
The required delivery date of the requirement is 30 days after contract award.
