U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires less lethal equipment for use in a law enforcement environment. To that end, CBP intends to purchase from Taser, International, Inc. (through its distributor Aardvark, Tactical, Incorporated, Azusa, CA) the following equipment; 250 EA X26 TASER with XDPM, 3,500 EA Blue Blast Door Simulation Training Cartridges, 600 EA Yellow Blast Door 15' Cartridge, 1,000 EA - XP25 Green Blast Door Cartridges, 6 Training Suits, 250 Right-Handed TASER X26 SERPA Duty Holsters, 45 Left-Handed TASER X26 SERPA Duty Holsters, 350 XDPM and 20 TASER X26 Data Download Kits. This will also include an option allowance of 25% of any of the above items. While CBP intends to procure these items from Taser (Aardvark), any offeror that believes they have a product(s) that can meet the above may submit information by e-mail (only) to Rick Travis at [email protected] not later than 29 May 2009. The information must be sufficient to determine that the offeror’s capabilities to produce items that are equivalent to the above noted equipment.
