Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Aardvark Tactical Inc, 1935 Puddingstone Drive, La Verne, CA 91750 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(i), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."  This requirement is for TASER International Inc (150) X26E tasers and  accessories: (150) Blackhawk Serpa Holster-Right hand, (150) Customer care warranties, (150) Taser Cam 2, (15) Taser Cam USB download kits, (522) 15ft yellow blast door/training cartridges, (450) 25ft green blast door/ field use cartridges, (5) X26E USB dataport download kit, (4) Air cartridge w/ alligator clips, and (4) conductive targets. distributed through Aardvark Tactical Inc.  Currently only the X26E taser is approved for use per MCO 5580.2B.  The taser is used to reduce risk of injury to both suspects and police officers through  the use of human electro-muscular incapacitation (HEMI) technology.  THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITION. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.  All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely received, will be considered by the agency.
