In accordance with the FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the Government will negotiate directly with TRITEK, INC. for this requirement. The proposed contract action is for ITEMS for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
JUSTIFICATION: The Government currently uses TEAC equipment. Additional equipment is required to support additional system capabilities. Procurement of this equipment will ensure compatibility with the equipment already in use. TRITEK, INC. is the sole distributor for these in the United States.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on 28 August 2013. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement. Responses are due on 28 August 2013 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
