A. The U.S. American Embassy in Rangoon [Embassy] has a requirement to obtain
Construction Services for installing wood shingles and associated flashings on the roof of
their historic Teak House. The proposed work shall consist of but is not limited to the
following:

1. Roof Area A, B. C, D & E: Sloped Wood Shingle Roof

a. Installation of new two-way wood batten system over existing underlayment
and wood deck.
b. Installation of new Pyinkadoe shingle roofing.
c. Installation of new decorative wood ridge/hip caps.
d. Installation of existing metal-clad ornamental wood peak elements.
e. Reuse of existing brass metal flashings at penetrations, walls, valleys,
ridges, hips and perimeters.

2. Roof Area F: Low Sloped Standing Seam Brass
