This is not a Request For Quotation. This is a special announcement concerning a sole-source contracting action.

1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, California, intends to make a sole-source solicitation and award to Sierra Nevada Corporation, Sparks, Nevada, for the following service: Telephone support to the 9th Reconnaissance Wing personnel for maintenance of all currently fielded versions of Sierra Nevada Special Category 1 (SCAT-1) Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) equipment used with the Global Hawk system at Beale Air Force Base, California. This support shall include troubleshooting advice, clarification of technical orders, and recommendations for procurement, repair, and upgrade of this equipment and its components. Support will be provided during normal business hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, PST, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

2. Sierra Nevada Corporation is the designer and manufacturer of the equipment.
