This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is unrestricted, NAICS code is 334515, size standard is 500 emp. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-13-Q-3027. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27.  

NUWC Division Newport intends to place a firm fixed price type purchase order with Tektronix, Inc. to procure the following sole make and model items:(1 ea) Tektronix LOGIC ANALYZER (P/Ns TLA7016, TLA70162C, K4000, TLA7AC4, TLA7AC4LG1, P6910, TLA7AC4, TLA7AC4LG1, TLA7AC45S and P6960)  &  (1 ea) Tektronix Oscilloscope (P/N DPO4104B-LGSA) Required delivery is eight weeks after award for the Oscilliscope and five weeks for the Logic Analyzer, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. 

Our current lab assets are all Tektronix Brand.  The governments minimum requirements are as follows: The logic state analyzer must be compatible with Tektronix modules, and able to accept up to 6 modules; Logic State analyzer must sample at 235MHz minimum with 2M state memory; Logic State analyzer must be compatible with existing government owned pattern generator module;  For testing, we need the LSA to interface with the existing Tektronix test equipment to obtain the required triggering capability.

All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers for other products must contain complete product information, delivery terms and prices.
