The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX is issuing this sources
sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an
interest and industry technologies available to provide compounded off-site professional diagnostic
radiological interpretations and reports 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via teleradiology and transcribe
all reports into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) at Brooke
Army Medical Center; Services performed under this contract shall be performed at the contractor's
facility.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a
requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this
requirement may be set aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and
open competition. One award will be made. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or
acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) located at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX requires these
medical sservices to delivery medical treatment to military service members and beneficiaries.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
The Government requires off-site professional diagnostic radiological interpretations and reports 24
hours a day, 7 days a week via teleradiology and transcribe all reports into the Armed Forces Health
Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), at Brooke Army Medical Center. The intent of this
Sources Sought is to assess the state-of-the art of the technology available for these services that
meets the following operational and program requirements:
Performance Requirements:
Read STAT diagnostic studies within 60 minutes of transmission from MAHC; Interpreting
radiologist immediately available to discuss findings with MAHC personnel.
Read Non-STAT diagnostic studies and interpret within four hours; then, transcribe all reports in
MAHC’s CHCS within 12 hours from transmission of MAHC
Keep receiving computers operational at all hours to accommodate incoming transmissions.
Prepare all written reports of diagnostic studies as required.
