The DOC, NOAA, Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), EAD has a requirement to support the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) Temperature Relative Humidity (TRH) Sensors. This solicitation is to procure a single system replacement for the existing dual-system Outside Air Temperature Sensor and Dew Point Temperature Sensor. The procured system will provide one reading that consists of the representative ambient Outside Air Temperature and Dew Point Temperature or the representative ambient Outside Air Temperature and Relative Humidity reading from which the Dew Point Temperature can be derived through other means.  This is a new requirement, and there are no incumbents.

The Government anticipates awarding a single award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions based on a best value basis.  The period of performance of this procurement will be for five years.  This requirement will be solicited and awarded using FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items.
