THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES
The 97th AMW at Altus, OK 73523 has a need for one 2000 LBF Capacity Morehouse Deadweight Tensiometer Calibrator. This will provide Altus AFB Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) support for dynamometers, small load cells, and aircraft tensionmeters. The 97th Contracting Flight intends to make award to Morehouse Instrument Company, Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for (pending availability of funds). Funds are not currently available for this requirement. However, a request for funding is included in the FY 15 end of year spend plan. Award is contingent upon funds becoming available on or before September 30, 2015. All quotes need to be valid until September 30, 2015.
